This picture is a unfinished mockup of Sho-Bud parts to show what we are doing in assembling new non-pedal Sho-Bud steels. The bodies are Super Pro from the mid eighties including end-castings. The necks are special cast as are the keyheads for 8 through 12 string non-pedal steel guitars. I purchased hundreds of Sho-Bud parts in the mid-eighties and have now decided to continue to assemble several non-pedal steel guitars from these parts. Tone, playability and quality will be excellent and the name Sho-Bud will appear on the front as these parts are all manufactured by Sho-Bud. What combination of parts and how they are assembled, the buyer can have a say in himself. For instance, color of cabinet, fretboards, string length, style of keyhead, type of pickups etc. Prices will range from $1800 to $3000. You dream it up and we'll assemble it.
